About The Tripod
The Tripod is an arts organization giving space, time, community, and financial support to artists so they have more freedom to research, experiment, and fail.
Named after the wooden structure designed and built by Alfred Jarry (which was based on Orson Well’s martian Tripods) we hope to provide a space that provokes creativity and imagination.
We’re organizing regular creative events, providing financial support to resident and remote artists, and accessing innovative, creative tooling to build an environment that can assist artists at various stages in their careers. Please reach out if you would like to help us grow our artist network or if you’d like to be considered for a future residency.
